Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting quantity take-offs, measurements, and preparation of detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for Civil, Structural, and MEP works.
- Support the development of cost estimates, tender documents, and project budgets under the supervision of senior QS staff.
- Collect and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations, preparing basic comparison sheets for evaluation.
- Monitor site activities to record material usage, manpower productivity, and assist in cost tracking.
- Prepare and update interim payment certificates, variation summaries, and support final account documentation.
- Ensure all measurements and quantities comply with project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
- Maintain proper records of BOQs, cost data, correspondence, and contract documents for project reference.
- Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, and planning teams to support cost control and reporting activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction or cost management (GCC experience preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and familiarity with estimating tools such as CostX, PlanSwift, or Bluebeam is an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of construction measurement methods, BOQ preparation, and tendering procedures.
- Strong numerical accuracy, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fresh graduates with good technical and academic understanding may also be considered.
