Raw Material & Inventory Executive (Paper Reels)

Department: Supply Chain / Inventory Management

Location: D-41, SITE,Super Highway, Phase 1, Karachi, PK

Reporting To: Factory Manager / Operations Head

Job Summary:

The Raw Material & Inventory Executive will be responsible for managing the complete record and movement of paper reels and other inventory used in carton production across all three manufacturing units. The role includes inwarding new reels, inter-factory transfers, usage tracking, and maintaining digital records to ensure transparency, accuracy, and timely reporting of inventory data.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Paper Reel Management

  • Record and verify all incoming paper reels from suppliers upon arrival.
  • Prepare and issue gate passes for reels transferred between warehouses or factories.
  • Ensure each reel is tagged, logged, and entered in the software system with accurate grammage, width, and reel number.
  • Monitor reel consumption at production floors and update usage data daily.

2. Software Entry & Record Keeping

  • Enter all inward, transfer, and consumption data into the inventory management software.
  • Maintain real-time digital records of all raw material stock levels.
  • Ensure data accuracy and traceability for each reel (batch-wise, supplier-wise).

3. Inter-factory Coordination

  • Manage and track movement of reels between three factory locations.
  • Reconcile stock balances between units weekly and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper documentation for every reel transfer (inward/outward slips, GRNs, delivery notes, etc.).

4. Monthly Reporting

  • Prepare monthly stock and consumption reports for paper reels and other materials.
  • Highlight slow-moving, excess, or missing reels.
  • Support management in monthly cost and wastage analysis.

5. General Inventory Management

  • Assist in tracking other consumables (glue, stitching wire, tape, etc.) used in production.
  • Maintain minimum stock levels and alert procurement for replenishment when needed.
  • Support physical stock audits and ensure data reconciliation.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel, ERP, or inventory management software.
  • Basic understanding of corrugated paper grades, grammage, and reel specifications.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity in handling inventory.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with factory and accounts teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
