THE OPPORTUNITY

More Than Just Keeping the Books

Centennial Advisers has closed over 4,000 commercial real estate deals and our team of 40 advisers is still growing. With that growth comes real complexity — commissions, deal structures, vendor payments, entity accounting, and a pace that doesn’t slow down.

This isn’t a role where you’ll sit quietly and enter receipts. You’ll be a key part of a collaborative team, and when something doesn’t add up, literally or figuratively, we’ll look to you to surface it, dig in, and help us figure it out.

We want someone who sees a discrepancy and gets curious. If you like solving puzzles and prefer to get involved rather than sit on the sideline, you’ll fit right in here.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Financial Operations

→ Manage accounts payable & receivable for properties & brokerage operations

→ Process and track commission disbursements

→ Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly

→ Maintain general ledger across multiple entities

→ Support year-end close and CPA deliverables

→ Assist our property management branch on bills & disbursements

Team Collaboration

→ Partner with advisers on deal-related invoicing

→ Flag inconsistencies before they become problems

→ Build and improve internal financial processes

→ Assist with reporting for ownership and partners

→ Jump in where needed, no “that’s not my job” here

THE RIGHT FIT

You don’t need a background in commercial real estate or property management; we’ll teach you the industry. What we can’t teach is drive, attention to detail, or the instinct to ask good questions.

You Probably Have

→ 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (if experience in property management or real estate it’s an added benefit, but not required)

→ Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar and Excel

→ Experience with multi-entity or commission accounting (a plus)

→ Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance (preferred)

→ Someone who communicates proactively, not reactively

→ Comfortable owning your work and asking for help when needed

→ A team player who picks up the slack for the benefit of the team

→ Unwavering integrity to handle sensitive financial information with ethical standards
