Real Estate – Senior Financial Analyst

Job Brief:

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting NHC’s Real Estate Finance team by delivering high-quality financial analysis, modeling, and reporting for large-scale real estate developments. The role focuses on feasibility studies, investment appraisal, and financial performance monitoring across residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for large-scale real estate projects using Estate Master, Argus, or similar software.
  • Perform feasibility studies, including sensitivity analysis, cash flow projections, NPV, IRR, ROI, and other real estate financial metrics.
  • Support investment decisions through cost and revenue benchmarking and detailed financial analysis.
  • Draft, review, and update regular financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards (Power BI or similar tools).
  • Monitor risk, funding, and investment performance, including PPP and other funding models.
  • Collaborate with project and departmental teams, contributing to strategy, planning, and problem-solving.
  • Develop and update cost models for operating assets and advise on financial implications.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data, models, and reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance financial modeling capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Real Estate.
  • MSc in Real Estate or MBA with finance specialization is a plus.
  • PMP or similar certification, Mostadam certification for communities/buildings is a plus.

Experience:

  • Experience in real estate finance, ideally in large-scale developments.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, feasibility studies, investment analysis, and KPI reporting.
  • Extensive experience using Estate Master, Argus, or similar software for real estate financial analysis.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and financial accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to create custom financial models and integrate them into existing systems.
  • Experience with risk management, project financing, and various funding models.
  • Strong communication skills in English (reading and writing).
  • Creative, proactive, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Main Objectives of the Role:

  • Support the Real Estate Finance team in achieving departmental KPIs.
  • Deliver accurate financial analysis and insights to support investment and strategic decisions.
  • Ensure robust and reliable financial modeling for all NHC real estate projects.
