About the Role

We’re a high-performing staging company in Austin looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Staging Assistant to help prepare homes for market.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that combines light design work with physical setup. If you enjoy transforming spaces, working on different properties, and being part of a team that moves quickly—this is a great fit.

This paid position offers a unique opportunity to blend interior design expertise with hands-on execution, helping clients showcase their properties at their very best.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in developing design concepts for staging homes
• Assist with staging vacant homes
• Move and arrange furniture, decor, and accessories
• Style rooms (pillows, artwork, lighting, finishing details)
• Load/unload staging inventory
• Help maintain organization of staging inventory and storage
• Support the team in executing staging projects from start to finish

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
• Able to lift/move furniture (30+ lbs with team support)
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Interior design or staging experience - would love examples
• Eye for layout, color, and detail
• Professional presentation of self

Bonus (Not Required)

• Experience with tagging inventory
• Experience with Stageforce, SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), or Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of current interior design principles and color theory
