Receptionist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and welcoming Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service while managing a variety of hospitality and administrative responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and creating a positive experience for guests and team members.


Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests with a courteous and guest-focused demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed.

• Provide high-quality customer service and guide visitors through the check-in process.

• Manage the badging process using related software and ensure accuracy.

• Escort guests through the building as needed and assist in setting up meeting spaces.

• Maintain and restock hospitality areas, including preparing coffee and ensuring cleanliness.

• Handle reprographics tasks such as creating books, pitch decks, and coil-bound materials.

• Perform printing, scanning, and copying tasks with attention to detail and quality control.

• Collaborate with clients to run proof samples and confirm approvals before final printing.

• Ask questions and work collaboratively to resolve uncertainties and improve processes.

• Stay proactive and organized, anticipating needs to ensure seamless operations.

Reception & Hospitality Expectations

• Welcoming, polished, guest focused demeanor

• White glove customer service

• Guiding and coaching guests through check in

• Understanding the badging process and associated software

• Walking guests through the building as needed

• Setting up meeting spaces, coffee, restocking, and maintaining hospitality areas

• Staying proactive, busy, and ahead of needs

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.

• Ability to manage multi-line phone systems and handle inbound calls efficiently.

• Familiarity with reprographics tasks, including printing, scanning, and formatting materials.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Proficiency in using software for badging and other administrative functions.

• Ability to work proactively and stay ahead of operational needs.

• Part-time availability with flexibility to adapt to dynamic schedules.
