We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk and perform a variety of administrative tasks. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our company. You will welcome guests who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
Responsibilities
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Will transfer a caller to an associate’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
- Greets and directs visitors to the necessary associate.
- Maintains visitor and package tracking logs and ensures all necessary NDAs are signed.
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming packages. (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks for various departments.
- Assists with other related clerical duties as assigned.
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
