Core Role:
As the Regional Category Manager for Feed Digestibility, you will be responsible for crafting and executing the main strategy of the category within the region. Your primary focus will be driving sales performance and aligning with our business objectives. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue targets and enhance market presence

As the Regional Category Manager for Feed Digestibility, you will be responsible for crafting and executing the main strategy of the category within the region. Your primary focus will be driving sales performance and aligning with our business objectives. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue targets and enhance market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Crafting: Develop, refine, and communicate the overarching strategy for the category. This includes identifying growth opportunities, competitive positioning, short-term action plan and long-term vision.
  • Sales Performance Follow-Up: Monitor sales metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to improve sales effectiveness. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue goals.
  • Sales operations support: Verify sales forecasts, provide support to solve operational challenges.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (Marketing, Sales, and Operations) to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.
  • Performance Metrics: Define KPIs, track performance, and report on progress to senior leadership.
  • Product launch: Define launch plans for new products, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Use this knowledge to inform strategic decisions.
  • Customer Intelligence: Understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points. Leverage customer insights to enhance our offerings.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with the overall strategy and drive sales. Adapt marketing material to local needs.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to the sales team, equipping them with the skills needed to excel.
  • GSM and SBU Liaison: This person acts as the main point of contact between the Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) and Specialties Business Units (SBUs).

Qualifications

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Energetic, well-organized, Self-Initiated and coordination skill
  • Good understanding of processes
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure keeping quality in focus
  • Creative thinking with ability to think out of the box and generate new ideas
  • Curiosity in understanding company products and brand
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
  • Master’s degree in veterinary or agriculture
  • Language: fluency in English
  • Proficiency with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience: at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Travel: at least 30% of the time
