Regional HR Operations Manager – Africa
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Regional HR Operations Manager – Africa to lead HR operations across in Rwanda. This role will drive operational excellence, workforce stability, and organizational alignment across all project sites and business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage HR operations across African regions and project sites.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, procedures, and workforce controls.
- Monitor workforce performance, discipline, and operational effectiveness.
- Act as a strategic HR partner to leadership, providing insights and solutions.
- Conduct regular site visits to maintain workforce visibility and operational control.
- Identify risks, resolve workforce issues, and ensure timely action plans.
- Strengthen collaboration across departments and multicultural teams.
- Prepare accurate HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
- Support development, coaching, and capability building of HR and operational teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years in regional/operational leadership roles.
- Strong experience in construction, infrastructure, or multi-site operations.
- Proven exposure to African markets and multicultural environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across African countries.
- Fluent in English (French is an advantage).
