Role Summary

As a  Regional Manager - M2M IoT & AI Solutions , you will lead and grow  IoT (Internet of Things) M2M (Machine-to-Machine)  connectivity and AI solutions business within your assigned region. The role blends strategic sales leadership, customer engagement, team enablement, revenue accountability, and cross-functional collaboration to drive adoption of IoT/M2M solutions across Enterprise, Government, and commercial segments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive regional  IoT/M2M/AI  portfolio sales and achieve or exceed assigned revenue and pipeline targets through new business acquisition, upselling, and customer expansion
  • Establish and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies specifically for IoT/M2M/AI products and solutions, including connectivity, device integration, platform services, and analytics offerings
  • Identify high-value opportunities in vertical use cases such as fleet & asset tracking, smart utilities, industrial IoT, remote monitoring, telematics, and other M2M solutions.

Customer Relationship & Account Leadership

  • Build strong, executive-level relationships with enterprise and government customers, understanding their digital transformation priorities and tailoring IoT/M2M solution pitches accordingly
  • Lead key client engagements, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Act as the primary sales escalation point for critical IoT/M2M opportunities and coordinate internally for pre-sales, delivery, and post-sales support

Team Leadership & Enablement

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a region-wide team of Business Consultants, IoT/M2M/AI specialists, and solution-oriented sales professionals
  • Create accountability and performance focus among team members to deliver on revenue, pipeline, and customer satisfaction KPIs
  • Conduct periodic enablement workshops to raise solution awareness, improve consultative selling skills, and drive sales excellence within your team

Solution Positioning & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal stakeholders including  pre-sales IoT specialists , product, pricing, platform, marketing, delivery, and operations teams to design commercially viable and technically sound IoT/M2M solutions
  • Work with Product and Commercial teams to enhance solution packaging, optimize pricing & bundling, and improve competitive positioning
  • Provide feedback on market dynamics, iterative product enhancements, competitive threats, and customer insights to central leadership

Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership

  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, emerging technologies (e.g., NB-IoT, 5G IoT frameworks), and competitor offerings to refine sales approaches and uncover new business opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry forums, trade events, panel discussions, and customer seminars to evangelize  M2M/IoT/AI  capabilities and Jazz's value proposition

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare accurate rolling forecasts, weekly/monthly sales reports, business reviews, and pipeline dashboards for Regional Head and senior leadership
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal governance, industry compliance standards, and contractual obligations in customer engagements

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Telecom / Enterprise Sales Experience:  5-7 years in telecom, solutions, or enterprise technology sales covering GSM, Fixed, IoT/M2M solutions, SMS platforms, GSM devices, and precision marketing campaigns
  • Enterprise Account Management:  Proven experience managing large B2B or strategic enterprise accounts and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Revenue & Target Achievement:  Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding regional and enterprise sales targets through new customer acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Solution Selling & Product Expertise:  Experience in consultative selling of integrated telecom solutions including GSM, Fixed, and IoT/M2M bundles, along with GSM devices, SMS solutions, and precision marketing campaigns
  • Team Leadership & Development:  Experience leading regional sales teams including Business Consultants and Coordinators, with the ability to coach and drive accountability
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management:  Strong experience managing sales pipelines, CRM tools, and revenue forecasting aligned with business objectives
  • Strategic Market & Competitor Awareness:  Understanding of telecom market trends, competitive landscape, and enterprise customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiation:  Ability to engage CXOs and senior decision-makers, with experience negotiating and closing complex enterprise deals
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Experience working with Product, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Service Delivery, and CVM teams to execute GTM strategies and campaigns
  • Educational Background:  Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Analytical & Commercial Acumen:  Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into revenue opportunities
  • Customer-Centric Mindset:  Strong focus on delivering superior customer experience and solving enterprise client challenges
