Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new-to-bank (NTB) high-value SME clients and strengthen existing relationships to grow the bank s liabilities and revenue.
- Develop a deep understanding of client business models, requirements, and industry trends to provide customized financial solutions.
- Maintain regular engagement with clients to ensure satisfaction and proactive management of their banking needs.
- Cross-sell and up-sell FAB s full suite of products, including cash management, treasury, trade finance, and lending solutions.
- Negotiate and structure tailored financial offerings in collaboration with internal product partners.
- Ensure timely response and turnaround for client requests, account openings, and service needs.
- Represent FAB with professionalism to strengthen its brand among SME clients in the UAE.
Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities within the SME segment through market analysis and networking.
- Develop strategic account plans and follow up on sales leads to achieve growth targets.
- Collaborate with product specialists and GTB partners to present comprehensive banking solutions.
- Increase FAB s market share in the SME space by targeting key growth industries and sectors.
- Actively monitor competitors offerings and propose improvements to maintain FAB s competitive edge.
Risk and Compliance Management
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and credit assessments for all clients in line with bank policy.
- Prepare and submit Credit Applications (CA) and renewal proposals accurately and within deadlines.
- Identify early warning signs of potential credit risk and take timely action to mitigate exposure.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and business banking standards.
- Cooperate with internal audit, risk management, and compliance teams to address identified gaps.
- Maintain up-to-date KYC information and ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) protocols.
Portfolio and Performance Management
- Maintain an assigned portfolio of SME clients with a focus on profitability, risk control, and long-term growth.
- Regularly review client performance, account activity, and financial positions to optimize portfolio health.
- Track and report business performance against agreed key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Drive operational efficiency and deliver on service-level agreements (SLAs).
Learning and Development
- Develop a personal growth plan and actively participate in FAB s professional training programs.
- Share best practices and insights with peers and contribute to the overall improvement of SME banking operations.
- Keep abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging SME banking trends.
