Remote Bookkeeper

Claremont Management Corporation is an enrolled agent public accounting firm located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. We provide complete accounting, tax planning and tax preparation services to both individual and business clients. We are seeking an experienced Independent Contractor Bookkeeper to support our growing client base.

This role involves managing all aspects of bookkeeping, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, and maintaining organized financial records. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using QuickBooks Online, possess strong analytical skills, and have the ability to communicate effectively with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank/credit card statements and ensure accuracy in financial data
  • Generate financial reports and statements
  • Record financial transactions, sales, receipts, and payments
  • Maintain organized records and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a bookkeeper
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Associate's degree in accounting or related field (preferred)
  • Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or similar certification (a plus)

  • Independent Contractor (1099) position

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
