Remote IT Desk Support Specialist

Job Summary:

The Software & Hardware IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to end users for desktop systems, software, and hardware. This role ensures the smooth operation of technology infrastructure, including troubleshooting issues, installing software and hardware, and data migration. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a customer-service mindset, and solid technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first- and second-level support to users on hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Perform basic data handling and migration tasks using Excel
  • Connect with users remotely using tools like AnyDesk to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems via phone, email, chat, remote tools
  • Document incidents, problems, and solutions in the service desk ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk).

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in desktop or technical support role.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Excel Skills (Required): Data formatting and cleanup, Sorting and filtering large datasets, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, Basic formulas and CSV file handling

Work Timing: 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Monday to Friday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs75,000.00 - Rs125,000.00 per month

Work Location: Remote
