Job Title: Rent Management / Leasing Manager – Retail Malls

Department: Retail Operations / Real Estate
Reports To: GM / Head of Operations
Location: Dubai

Part time role, we need someone who is immediately available with experience in mall management for renting shops.

Salary - AED 6000- AED 7000

Job Summary

The Rent Management (Leasing) Manager is responsible for managing all rental and lease-related activities for retail shops located in malls. This includes negotiating rental terms, coordinating with mall management, ensuring timely rent payments, handling renewals, and securing new shop locations in line with the company’s expansion strategy.

Key Responsibilities1. Lease & Rent Management

  • Manage all shop lease agreements across malls.
  • Monitor rent schedules, service charges, and payment deadlines.
  • Coordinate timely rent payments and resolve billing discrepancies with mall management.
  • Maintain accurate records of lease contracts, addendums, and renewals.

2. Mall & Landlord Coordination

  • Act as the main point of contact with mall management and landlords.
  • Handle lease-related correspondence, approvals, and documentation.
  • Coordinate for fit-out approvals, handover, and shop opening timelines.

3. Lease Negotiation & Renewals

  • Negotiate new leases, renewals, and rental revisions.
  • Review lease terms including rent, escalation clauses, incentives, and penalties.
  • Ensure lease terms are commercially favorable and compliant with company policies.

4. New Shop Acquisition (Taking on Rent)

  • Identify suitable retail spaces in malls based on brand and expansion plans.
  • Evaluate rental proposals, footfall, location, and commercial viability.
  • Prepare feasibility reports and recommendations for management approval.

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all lease agreements comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Finance teams for contract review and approvals.
  • Track lease expiry dates and critical clauses to avoid penalties or lapses.

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare rental cost reports and lease summaries.
  • Monitor rent-to-sales ratio and store profitability.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize rental costs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 5 per week
