Reporting & Analytics Lead

Summary

We are seeking a Reporting & Analytics Lead with strong technical and analytical expertise to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise reporting solutions within the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI) and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) . This role requires both hands-on development and technical leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and efficient reporting solutions that support business decision-making and performance insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into technical specifications.
• Architect and implement efficient data models and reporting structures optimized for performance and scalability.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI .
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting solutions.
• Establish and enforce reporting standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Mentor and guide reporting developers and analysts, providing technical direction and quality oversight.
• Work closely with data engineering and database teams to optimize queries, stored procedures, and report performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex reporting issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on emerging reporting technologies and recommend improvements to existing processes and tools.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field .
• 5+ years of experience in reporting and business intelligence development
• Strong hands-on experience with SSRS and Power BI for building and optimizing enterprise reports and dashboards.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL .
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and performance tuning .
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working within the Banking and Financial Services domain is highly desirable.
