Reservation Agent: Join Our Team
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest service by handling reservations efficiently, responding to guest inquiries, and supporting the overall reservations operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily reservation operations to ensure all inquiries and bookings are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels in accordance with hotel standards.
- Process room reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests while ensuring data accuracy.
- Monitor reservation activity and assist in maximizing productivity and service levels.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all guest information is updated within the reservation system.
- Assist guests with information regarding hotel facilities, services, promotions, and local attractions.
Qualifications & RequirementsExperience & Skills
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in reservations, front office, customer service, or a hospitality-related environment.
- Proficiency in reservation management systems and hotel property management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation with strong problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Hospitality certification, diploma, or relevant training is an advantage.
