Job Title: Reservation Manager

Location: Goa, India
Department: Reservations
Reports To: Revenue Manager

Job Summary:

The Reservation Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the resort’s reservations department to maximize room revenue and occupancy while ensuring excellent guest service. This role involves overseeing reservation operations, implementing effective room inventory and rate strategies, and maintaining strong coordination with the Sales, Front Office, and Revenue Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the reservations department ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all bookings.
  • Manage online and offline reservation channels (OTA, website, travel agents, direct bookings).
  • Ensure timely responses to guest inquiries via phone, email, and other platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Manager to develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize room yield.
  • Monitor occupancy trends and adjust rates or allocations accordingly.
  • Manage room inventory and coordinate with Sales and Front Office to prevent overbooking.
  • Ensure all guest requests and preferences are recorded and communicated to relevant departments.
  • Handle VIP and special guest reservations personally to ensure personalized service.
  • Resolve reservation-related guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise the reservations team to maintain high performance standards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure departmental SOPs are followed.
  • Ensure all reservation data is updated and accurate in the Property Management System (PMS).
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on booking trends, occupancy, and revenue.
  • Coordinate with IT and PMS vendors for system updates or issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel or resort reservations, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Hindi, or other regional languages is an advantage.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working in a luxury or boutique resort environment.
  • Knowledge of Goa’s hospitality market and seasonal booking trends.
  • A warm, guest-centric attitude with attention to detail and operational excellence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
