Job Overview:
CodeMine Petroleum Studio is seeking a detail-oriented Reservoir Data Analyst to support reservoir engineering and subsurface teams through advanced data analysis. The role focuses on interpreting reservoir performance data, improving production insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making in oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze reservoir, production, and well performance data to support engineering decisions
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualization tools for reservoir monitoring
• Clean, validate, and manage large subsurface and production datasets
• Support reservoir modeling and simulation teams with accurate data inputs
• Identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities in reservoir performance
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers, geoscientists, and field teams
• Improve data workflows, automation, and reporting efficiency
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with company standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Data Science, Geoscience, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in reservoir data analysis or oil & gas analytics
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar data analysis tools
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with reservoir engineering concepts and subsurface data
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
