Resident Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of on-site engineering activities for large-scale construction projects.

• Lead and coordinate on-site engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines
• Review and approve construction methodologies, work plans, and technical submittals
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and local building codes
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on-site
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies
• Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
• Implement and maintain robust safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Analyze and optimize construction processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Oversee contract management and ensure compliance with project agreements
