Job Overview
The Resort Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, developing business opportunities, and building strong client relationships to maximize revenue for the resort. The role focuses on generating business from corporate clients, travel agents, OTAs, event organizers, and direct bookings while maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across leisure, corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events), and travel segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporates, wedding planners, and other business partners.
- Conduct sales calls, client visits, and property tours to promote resort facilities and services.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
Revenue & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for room revenue, banquets, and F&B.
- Drive direct bookings and maximize occupancy levels.
- Coordinate with the reservations and front office team to optimize revenue.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities.
Marketing & Promotions
- Work with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns, packages, and seasonal offers.
- Represent the resort at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, and roadshows.
- Promote the resort’s USP through digital platforms, OTAs, and partnerships.
Client Servicing & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and VIP guests.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns, customizing offerings, and ensuring smooth event execution.
- Develop repeat business and long-term client partnerships.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain updated sales reports, pipeline trackers, and client databases.
- Provide regular market feedback to management on trends, competitor strategies, and performance.
- Collaborate with F&B, Banquets, and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of commitments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in hotel sales in a managerial role (preferably in resorts or luxury hotels).
- Strong network of corporate clients, travel agents, and event organizers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
- Knowledge of sales tools, CRM software, and MS Office.
