Main Purpose:
-
Responsible for planning, allocation, monitoring, and optimization of human and digital resources across projects and operational activities.
-
Ensure effective utilization of skilled manpower, digital assets, and infrastructure resources, timely availability, cost control, and alignment with organizational priorities while supporting delivery commitments.
-
Own resource visibility, inventory accuracy, and budget adherence to enable informed management decisions.
Job Accountabilities:

Prepare and maintain resource plans aligned with project schedules, priorities, and delivery timelines.
-
Allocate resources based on skills, availability, workload, asset dependency, and project criticality.
-
Support ramp-up and ramp-down of resources in line with project and operational needs.
-
Track resource utilization, availability, productivity, and dependency on digital assets.
-
Identify capacity gaps, under-utilization, and over-allocation risks and recommend corrective actions.
-
Digital Asset & Inventory Management
-
Maintain inventory of digital assets and resources, including:
-
Software licenses
-
Digital tools and platforms
-
Hardware / infrastructure allocations (as applicable)
-
Track asset utilization, availability, ownership, and lifecycle status.
-
Coordinate with IT, procurement, and vendors to ensure optimal allocation and reuse of digital assets.
-
Support license compliance, renewal planning, and audit readiness.
-
Identify opportunities for asset rationalization and cost optimization.
-
Budgeting, Cost Control & Financial Support
-
Assist in resource budgeting and forecasting for projects and operational functions.
-
Track resource- and asset-related costs against approved budgets.
-
Support variance analysis between planned vs actual utilization and spend.
-
Provide inputs for financial reviews, management reporting, and cost optimization initiatives.
-
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
-
Coordinate with project managers, functional leads, HR, IT, finance, and vendors for resource and asset requirements.
-
Act as a central point of contact for resource and digital asset requests, conflicts, and escalations.
-
Support onboarding, transitions, and offboarding, including provisioning and de-provisioning of digital assets. Reporting, Governance & Process Improvement

Prepare and publish resource and asset utilization reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
-
Maintain accurate resource and digital asset records, ensuring audit-ready documentation.
-
Support management decision-making with data-driven insights on capacity, cost, and asset efficiency.
-
Ensure adherence to resource, asset, and cost management processes and policies.
-
Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and tool adoption.
-

Skills Required:

Strong experience in resource planning, allocation, capacity management, and utilization tracking across projects and operations.

Hands-on exposure to digital asset and inventory management, including software licenses, tools, platforms, and infrastructure resources.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis related to manpower and digital assets.
-
Proficiency in project/resource management tools, advanced Excel, MIS reporting, and dashboards.
-
Ability to analyze utilization data, identify gaps or risks, and recommend cost and efficiency optimization measures.
-
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across PMs, HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, and vendors.
-
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-support mindset.
Experience Required:
-
5-14 years of experience in resource management or a related field.
Preferred Educational Qualification:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
