Restaurant Admin/ Cashier

Job Description:

1. Processing and accepting payments.

2. Keeping records of transactions.

3. Cashing out the servers during and/or at the end of each shift.

4. Supporting the HR Department with administrative duties.

5. Coordinating with the Finance Department when required.

6. Taking takeaway orders.

7. Applying for the mall’s minor and major work permits.

8. Keeping records of company documents.

9. Sending and replying to emails.

10. Making and answering phone calls.

11. Carrying out administrative tasks such as filing, printing, scanning, binding, photocopying, and typing.

12. Resolving administrative issues.

13. Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner.

14. Maintaining records of employee documents, birthdays, and contact lists.

15. Maintaining records of suppliers’ lists and maintenance companies.

16. Organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings.

17. Preparing and sending daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

18. Registering staff members on the attendance device.

19. Maintaining manual attendance records in conjunction with the restaurant management.

20. Maintaining complete knowledge of all our foods and beverages, outlets, services, and hours of operation.

21. Issuing receipts, refunds, and changes.

22. Recommending foods and beverages to our guests.

23. Greeting our guests whenever they are entering and leaving our restaurant.

24. Maintaining clean and tidy workstations.

25. Bagging and wrapping takeaway orders.

26. Pleasantly dealing with guests to ensure satisfaction.

27. Training new and existing staff.

28. Preparing and/or updating the cashier and restaurant administration manual.

29. Collecting documents from different departments in the restaurant and sending them to the head office.

30. Receiving documents from the head office and properly disseminating them to the respective departments or staff.

31. Informing the staff about the schedule of their contract signing, medical tests, training, and other messages from the head office.

Assisting the staff in filling out or signing forms to be sent to the head office.
