Position Summary:
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light snacks while ensuring excellent customer service in the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to recipes and standards.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and service area.
- Ensure all beverages are presented consistently and meet quality standards.
- Manage stock of coffee, milk, syrups, and barista supplies.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking and serving orders accurately.
- Assist with upselling and promoting new drinks or specials.
- Support the restaurant team in smooth daily operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
