We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Restaurant Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, setting a positive tone for their visit
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth seating flow
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization while accommodating guest preferences and special requests
• Answer incoming phone calls with courtesy, providing information about the restaurant and reservation options
• Assist guests with seating, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional guest relations throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow during busy hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in guest-focused roles
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest services enhances your effectiveness in this role
