Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere while managing seating arrangements efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize restaurant flow.
• Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the menu, restaurant policies, and services.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions regarding the restaurant.
• Uphold high standards of guest relations, ensuring that all guests feel valued and appreciated.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
