Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude, making them feel valued and comfortable
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements
• Coordinate guest seating to optimize restaurant flow and reduce wait times, while accommodating special requests and preferences
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous professionalism, providing information about wait times, menu items, or special events
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable
• Assist with guest inquiries, provide directions within the restaurant, and address any immediate concerns promptly
• Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience in hotel or guest services roles is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in hospitality settings
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
• Knowledge of serving standards and guest engagement techniques enhances overall performance

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
