Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous professionalism, providing accurate information and reservations
• Assist guests with seating preferences, special requests, and answer any questions about the menu or restaurant services
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and a welcoming presence
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and guest services standards

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
