Job Description – Restaurant Manager

Location: Andheri West, Mumbai
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month + Service Charge, Tips & Food
Shift Type: Straight Shift
Duty Hours: 10 Hours a Day
Weekly Off: 1 Weekly Off as per Standard

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of the cafe including floor management, guest service, billing, and overall upkeep.
  • Ensure all operational procedures are followed efficiently and consistently.
  • Monitor service speed, food quality, and guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth order flow and communication.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service.
  • Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
  • Create staff rosters, manage attendance, and ensure discipline and grooming standards are maintained.
  • Foster a positive and professional work culture that encourages teamwork and accountability.

Guest Experience & Service Quality

  • Greet and interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor, especially during peak hours.
  • Implement feedback systems and monitor guest reviews to identify areas of improvement.

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash handling, billing accuracy, and reconciliation of POS reports.
  • Track and monitor daily sales, service charge distribution, and revenue performance.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain inventory records and coordinate with procurement for supplies and stock replenishment.

Hygiene, Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure the café adheres to hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
  • Conduct regular checks of service and kitchen areas for compliance with company and statutory norms.
  • Maintain all documentation related to licenses, audits, and operational checklists.

Promotions & Brand Representation

  • Support in planning and executing promotional activities, special events, and marketing initiatives.
  • Uphold brand values and ensure a consistent café image across all touchpoints.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and improving guest engagement.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Restaurant or Café Manager / Assistant Manager in a reputed hospitality brand.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Pleasant personality with a guest-first attitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and make quick, effective decisions.
  • Knowledge of café operations, POS systems, inventory control, and staff management.
  • Flexible to work in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
