- Operations Management: Overseeing day-to-day running, ensuring smooth service flow, managing ambiance (music, lighting).
- Staff Management: Recruiting, training, scheduling, motivating, and resolving conflicts; leading by example.
- Financial Management: Analyzing sales, creating budgets, controlling costs, tracking inventory, and reporting on profitability.
- Customer Service: Greeting guests, taking reservations, handling complaints empathetically, and ensuring high service standards.
- Inventory & Purchasing: Monitoring stock, ordering supplies, managing vendors, controlling waste, and ensuring quality.
- Marketing & Sales: Developing promotions, advertising, and community programs to attract and retain customers.
- Health & Safety: Enforcing sanitation, hygiene, and legal compliance (licensing, safety standards).
- Menu & Quality Control: Collaborating with the chef on menus, specials, food presentation, and beverage choices.
