About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate will support the Restaurant Manager in supervising staff, coordinating supplies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. You will also play a key role in improving efficiency, maximizing profitability, and fostering customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations and staff performance.
  • Prepare weekly work schedules and arrange replacements for absent team members.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in staff onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure restaurant policies, hygiene, and safety standards are strictly followed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with suppliers for orders.
  • Verify the accuracy of received supplies and ensure timely documentation.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in tracking daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses.
  • Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and resolving guest concerns professionally.
  • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout all restaurant areas.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, including social media promotions in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and preparing weekly reports.
  • Ensure team punctuality, appropriate grooming, and professional appearance (uniforms and name tags).
  • Enforce confidentiality and company policy compliance at all times.
  • Report any violations or misconduct to the HR Department promptly.
  • Coordinate with HR for renewals of legal documents and staff Food Handling Certificates.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar’s food safety, labeling, and shelf-life regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in restaurant supervision or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of food delivery operations (online and in-house).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passion for hospitality and a positive, hands-on attitude.

Appearance & Hygiene Standards:

  • Maintain excellent personal hygiene and professional grooming.
  • Hair must be neat, tied back, and kept away from the face when handling food.
  • Wear the complete assigned uniform and name tag at all times while on duty.
