Restaurant Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor is the operational leader on shift, responsible for executing brand standard

standards across service, quality, food safety, people leadership, and cash control. This role

bridges strategy and execution, ensuring consistency during every trading hour.

Scope of Role

 Lead FOH and bar operations during assigned shifts

 Ensure SOP, food safety, and quality compliance in real time

 Coordinate team deployment and service flow

 Control cash handling and POS discipline

 Act as escalation point for guests, staff, and operational risks

Key Performance Measures

 Shift audit and checklist completion rate

 Service speed and order accuracy during shift

 Guest recovery effectiveness and complaint resolution

 Quality consistency and remake control

 Cash variance and POS compliance

 Team performance, discipline, and engagement

Compliance & Food Safety Responsibilities

 Act as Person in Charge (PIC) when certified and rostered

 Enforce hygiene, handwashing, and PPE compliance

 Monitor temperature control and corrective actions

 Ensure allergen procedures are followed without exception

 Escalate incidents and ensure logs are completed
