Summary:
The Restaurant Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of the Restaurant, kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervises and coordinates activities of Restaurant, food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel and purchases or requisitions foodstuffs and kitchen supplies: Plans or participates in planning menus, preparing and apportioning foods, and utilizing food surpluses.
- Specifies number of servings to be made from any vegetable, meat, beverage, and dessert to control portion costs.
- checks the food stock for freshness and quality on a regular basis.
- It is the duty of a Kitchen Supervisor to look into any customer complaints and be able to resolve such complaints on food service or quality.
- Restaurant Supervisor is the one who makes a schedule for the routinely equipment maintenance, waste removal and cleaning services.
- Supervises COOK and tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards.
- Supervises workers engaged in inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies.
- Purchases foodstuffs, kitchen supplies, and equipment, or requisitions them from PURCHASING AGENT.
- Trains new workers.
- Performs other duties as described
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role in a fast-paced culinary environment.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

- Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities to address issues as they arise, adapt to changing circumstances, and ensure smooth Restaurant operations.
