Retail Learning Manager

Position

The Retail Learning Manager is responsible for designing, deploying, and delivering a structured learning and development strategy across assigned stores. The role supports business priorities by developing retail teams’ selling capabilities, leadership skills, and Client Experience excellence. Through consistent coaching, follow-up, and close partnership with Store Management, the Retail Learning Manager enables teams to perform at their highest level while fostering a strong feedback and development culture.

Job responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Deployment

  • Translate and execute corporate learning strategies at store level in alignment with business priorities
  • Define and manage learning roll-out plans to support performance, engagement, and growth
  • Build and manage store learning calendars in partnership with Store Management
  • Contribute to regional and EMEA learning initiatives and projects

Coaching & Talent Development

  • Lead a strong culture of in-store coaching across all retail roles, from Client Advisors to Managers
  • Support Retail Management in building tailored individual coaching and development plans
  • Maintain an active shop-floor presence to observe, coach, and provide structured feed-forward
  • Identify skill gaps and adapt training approaches accordingly
  • Identify and propose talents for internal learning programs, Academies, and EMEA workshops

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Design, facilitate, and deliver core trainings including onboarding, inductions, selling skills, product trainings, floor management workshops, and Academies
  • Leverage role-play, on-the-floor coaching, and experiential learning to elevate the Client Experience
  • Partner closely with Merchandising, Clienteling, Retail Excellence, Supply Chain, and HR to deliver impactful learning experiences

Onboarding & Integration

  • Ensure a consistent pre-onboarding and onboarding experience for all new joiners
  • Partner with HR and Managers to proactively plan onboarding journeys
  • Support Store and Team Managers in deploying onboarding programs across all retail roles

Reporting & Learning Governance

  • Monitor and assess the quality, impact, and effectiveness of in-store learning initiatives
  • Ensure accurate tracking of training activities through the LMS
  • Support Store Management in mastering LMS tools and learning follow-up processes
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to key stakeholders on training outcomes and priorities

  • Structured, organized, and data-driven approach to learning impact
  • Strong presence on the shop floor with a deep understanding of retail dynamics
