Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing with customers and partners
• Help clients troubleshoot problems with software integration and testing
• Roll-out the solution for new retail stores (Department stores or Boutiques)
• Support the perpetual road map planning processes focused on retail store technology capabilities
• Design and Support Retail store technology components like POS and related peripherals, Solutions on Tablets, RFID, traffic counters working closely with external vendors, support partners and IT management.
• Ensure all new solutions are designed and architect in a scalable and long-term supportable model
• Support the development and execution of a Support Model/Process to ensure achievement of SLA’s for all retail business systems for our retail business
• Testing new functionality and features in our store lab to ensure the highest standards of quality.

Qualifications for retail engineer

• Advanced knowledge & experience with any Enterprise Retail solutions like (Cegid, Oracle Retail, Retail Product)
• Advanced knowledge & experience with writing SQL queries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or in a related technical field or equivalent technology experience
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible in same field.
• 2+years of IT experience in a leadership role responsible for both business systems support (per SLA’s) and the successful delivery and deployment of IT technology-based solutions including responsibility and ownership for IT projects. Experience required in the selection and successful management of on-going relationships with multiple service providers (technology and services)
• Strong knowledge in technical writing of systems manual and documentation.
• Have knowledge in Marketing cloud of sales force and RFID technologies is plus.

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
