Retail Sales Associate

Aqua Gifts/The Laughing Admiral is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and represent our brands in a positive way. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. A positive attitude and the ability to independently locate and finish tasks will help you excel in this position. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our stores satisfied and you will contribute to each stores profitability. Must be able to work weekends consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a cheerful manner, help them locate items as well assist them with their shopping.
• Assist customers with shoe and apparel sizing and recommending items based on stock availability.
• Maintaining quality atmosphere of store by cleaning, customer assistance, and maintaining merchandise displays.
• Replacing sold items from back stock, re-merchandising shelves and displays.
• Keeping the store looking its best by cleaning, which includes (but not limited to) sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing windows, organizing supplies, weeding and watering plant boxes.
• Completing customers purchases, using iPad-based Point of Sale, gift wrapping as needed.
• Unpacking new arrivals, using a computer to create and print bar codes, and labeling products accurately.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Repeat up and down stairs daily. Standing all day. Bending and climbing ladders.

Please note: This is a part-time position, with required weekend work. Please let us know if you have minimum or maximum hour requirements.
