JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Retail Sales Trainer to join our team and help us create the ultimate luxury fragrance experience for our customers. As our Retail Sales Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering training programs that equip our perfume retail salesmen with the skills and knowledge they need to provide our esteemed clientele with an exceptional shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Training Program Development: Research, develop & design retail training aids/resources; including handbooks, demonstration methods, multimedia visual aids and reference work etc. to support retail sales and service objectives across the group for the assigned regions.
- Training Program Design: Plan, design and execute in-house retail sales training programs with a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, one-to-one sessions, and on-the-job learning & e-learning.
- Train-The-Trainer: Create effective remote working partnerships with a Train-The-Trainer population, engaging, motivating and training this key team.
- Training Materials: Develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos, and interactive modules, to support various learning styles and preferences.
- Training Execution: Deliver classroom and in-store training across the showrooms with an emphasis on product features/benefits.
- Product Launch & Marketing Delivery: Demonstrate presentations to sales teams about new product launches, introduction, marketing materials and communication strategy.
- Adaptability: Adapt training delivery methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
- Training Evaluation & Improvement: Work closely with key members of the sales teams and sales performance analytics teams to recognize areas of growth and improvement.
- Reporting & Accountability: Monitor and report regularly on retail sales training expenditure as agreed with department/business leaders. Create and maintain appropriate evaluation and recording processes, reporting regularly on individual and regional progress and performance as agreed with Sales Head.
- Content Review: Periodic review and amendment of the product knowledge training materials / module for effective delivery; periodic review of the retail sales training program and report progress to senior management.
- Professional Development: Continue to develop own professional skills and expertise within the industry; responsible for overall Retail Sales Training of the Organization. Design & expand retail training and develop programs based on business needs.
- Feedback: Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and refinement.
- Collaboration & Communication: Establish and maintain regular communication with sales heads to ensure awareness of current business strategy, objectives and training needs.
- Go-to-Market & Brand: Participate in new product launches and propose ideas and methods that require a holistic go-to-market approach as per category introductions for the assigned region; drive the continuous enhancement of the brand and brand awareness.
- Culture & Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the retail organization.
Qualifications & Skills
- 7 to 10 years in sales training. Preferably with experience in luxury brands and perfumes background only.
- Adeptness and ability to cope with a fast-paced work environment by being hands-on.
- Passion for innovative people solutions and process improvement.
- Excellent communication, articulation and presentation skills.
- Collaborative mindset and a team player.
- In-depth understanding of People functions and practices.
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and coaching skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proficient spoken Arabic language is a must.
