We are currently seeking a motivated Trainee Supervisor/Supervisor to join our team and support the daily operations of our store while gaining valuable management experience.
Job Summary: The Trainee Supervisor/Supervisor will assist to oversee the daily operations of the store. This position is designed to provide hands-on training in various aspects of store management, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
- Assist in training and supervising sales associates and other staff members.
- Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure high standards of customer service.
- Help in scheduling shifts and managing employee attendance.
Customer Service:
- Support staff in addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Model excellent customer service and handle complex customer interactions.
Operations and Inventory Management:
- Assist in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment and management.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of stock and merchandising.
Sales and Performance:
- Support the implementation of sales strategies and promotions.
- Analyze sales data and assist in developing action plans to achieve store targets.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures to maximize sales and efficiency.
- DO Daily Boost-up Meetings for staff better performance and hygienes
Store Maintenance:
- Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure that the store’s appearance aligns with company standards and policies.
Training and Development:
- Participate in training programs to enhance supervisory skills and store management knowledge.
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members to support their development.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous but not required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of retail operations and customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Capability to perform tasks involving bending, stretching, and reaching.
