The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Road Safety Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing road safety strategies that ensure the wellbeing of all personnel and the safe operation of our transportation activities within the Oil & Gas industry. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive road safety programs aligned with company policies and UAE regulations. - Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits related to transportation and road use. - Coordinate training sessions and awareness campaigns to promote road safety best practices among employees and contractors. - Investigate road incidents and accidents, analyze causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to enhance road safety standards. - Monitor compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies across all company vehicles and transportation activities. - Prepare reports on road safety performance metrics and present findings to management for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field. - IVMS Certificate Mandatory requirement - Proven experience in road safety coordination, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector. - Strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders. - Ability to conduct training sessions and influence positive safety behavior. - Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
