Room Attendant

Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to keep all areas spotless and inviting.
• Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and other essentials to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain public areas by cleaning lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other shared spaces with efficiency and care.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for quick resolution.
• Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality, security, and guest privacy at all times.
• Assist with special cleaning projects such as industrial cleaning or deep cleans when required.
• Support team members with housekeeping management tasks during busy periods or as needed to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality is highly preferred; experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care methods and industrial cleaning processes.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering top-quality service.
• Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina; ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
