RUC Complex Senior Process Engineer (SMP)

Regular Assigned Duties & Target Skills:

• Provide Technical Support to SAMREF projects, with hands on experience in Residue Upgrade Complex (Ebullated Bed Residue Hydrocracker, VGO Hydrocracker, Diesel Hydrotreater units), to deliver a safe, regulatory compliant, quality project to maximize value to SAMREF.
• To be part of the project manufacturing team located at SAMREF and to effectively interface with project management team and refinery manufacturing team in delivering the project objectives.
• Review the reports and inputs from the licensors, engineering consultants and project team to ensure that all site standards are met; new facilities are optimized and well synergized with existing refinery units.
• Review project deliverables and ensure that project management team delivers a quality project to SAMREF manufacturing site.
• Ensure flawless progress of project reviews and continue to support the project rollover, commissioning and start-up of the Residue Upgrade complex.
• Process, Design and Detailed Engineering Skills.
• Expertise in reviewing P&ID, PFD, Hazop, etc.
• Expertise in developing Simulation Models using Hysys, AFT, etc.
• Excellent knowledge on Refinery Safe Practices.

Education:

Bachelor degree from accredited University in Chemical Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 10+ years (full-time) experience in Oil & Gas Refineries.
