Safety Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Safety Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain our health and safety systems across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies.

· Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.

· Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, safety regulations, and company standards.

· Lead site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

· Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports.

· Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for site staff and subcontractors.

· Liaise with project managers to ensure safety measures are integrated into all phases of the project.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.

· 5+ years’ experience in safety engineering within the construction or fit out industry.

· NEBOSH IGC certification required; OSHA certification is a plus.

· Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
