Safety Manager
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
* Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
* Lead safety training programs and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
* Monitor workplace activities to identify and eliminate potential hazards.
* Prepare and submit safety reports, audits, and performance metrics.
* Coordinate emergency response plans and safety drills.
* Promote a strong safety culture across all departments and project sites.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management.
* Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred.
* Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
