Job Description – Safety Officer

Position: Safety Officer
Location: Various project sites across Qatar
Reports To: HSE Manager / Safety Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with HSE procedures and safe working practices.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by all personnel.
• Maintain incident/accident logs and assist in investigations.
• Support toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Ensure first-aid readiness at the site.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer on Ashghal/PWA projects.
• NEBOSH IGC certified.
• OSHA 30 Hours certificate.
• IOSH Managing Safely certificate.
• First Aid certificate.
• Valid Qatar driving license.

Job Type: Contract
