Safety Officer

Job responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and local regulations.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards at site.
• Act as Permit Receiver / Permit Coordinator and ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
• Conduct site safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for workers.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and prepare reports.
• Ensure proper use of PPE at site.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe work execution.

Maintain safety documentation and records.
Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience as Permit Receiver / Permit Coordinator.
• NEBOSH certified
• Good understanding of HSE regulations and best practices.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Should have valid Qatar Id
