Safety Officer

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team for ongoing QE projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, site safety practices, and compliance requirements within construction and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in QE projects in Qatar
• Mandatory certification in NEBOSH and IOSH
• Valid Qatari Driving License is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Qatar construction safety regulations and HSE standards
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety inspections
• Ability to prepare safety reports and maintain HSE documentation
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Must be available in Qatar with transferable QID preferred
• Candidate should be able to pass the client interview

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce health & safety regulations at project sites
• Conduct regular site inspections and hazard identification
• Ensure compliance with company and client HSE requirements
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports with corrective actions
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for workers
• Coordinate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment on site

Preferred Qualifications

• Mandatory certification in NEBOSH and IOSH
• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• Experience working on construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
