Job Overview
Glider Truck and Trailer Repair LLC is seeking a reliable and detail oriented Shop Operations and Accounting Administrator to manage daily shop transactions and office operations. This role is responsible for running Fullbay, handling invoicing, tracking parts and labor, managing accounts receivable and payable, and maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks.

The ideal candidate understands repair shop workflow, stays organized in a fast paced environment, and takes ownership of financial accuracy and customer communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage work orders in Fullbay from opening to closing
  • Enter technician labor hours and parts used
  • Generate and send customer invoices
  • Track and collect outstanding payments
  • Process vendor bills and manage accounts payable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
  • Communicate with customers regarding repair status and billing
  • Monitor parts purchases and job costing
  • Assist with monthly profit and loss reporting

Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks required
  • Experience with Fullbay or similar shop management software preferred
  • Experience in truck, trailer, or automotive repair industry preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy shop environment
  • Professional communication skills
