Copart is looking to recruit a summer intern for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Sales department. The position is between 32 and 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday) and the incumbent will office at the Copart Corporate HQ building located in Addison, TX. The position is open immediately and expected to conclude around mid-to-late August.
Job Responsibilities
Incumbent will be responsible for managing the administrative responsibilities for the team, including, but not limited to the following:
Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features
Prioritize and respond to incoming calls, emails, and Sales Team requests
Remain knowledgeable on products and services offered
Create and maintain inside and outside training material
Sort/Action/File incoming emails via the shared mailbox
Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, and preparing reports
Provide sales materials for meetings, such as presentations, flyers, and other documents
Arrange and coordinate meeting rooms, teleconference setup, and other tasks related to client visits
Work with account managers to ensure new customer instructions are communicated
Take ownership of any general customer inquiry, allocate and confirm resolution for customer
Assist in the preparation and management of regularly scheduled reports
Delivering excellent customer service both internally and externally
Skills and qualifications:
High School Diploma and 2 years’ experience in Administrative Support and/or Event Planning required
Preference for candidates currently enrolled in college
Ability to work proficiently in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong internet and research skills
High level of organization and prioritization skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiastic about initiating and completing event projects
Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading, and speaking
