SALES & APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

JOB TITLE : Sales & Application Engineer

DEPARTMENT : Commercial Projects Division

RESPONSIBLE TO : AGM-Sales & Product Management

  • Should be Graduate in Mechanical Engineer with minimum 05 years’ experience in HVAC Sales.
  • Experience in selling Ac & HVAC Projects(DX Systems)
  • Preference for candidates from Oman/GCC with valid driving License.

Ø Shall be responsible for responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs Ø Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams Ø Answer questions about products directly to customer. Ø Provide world class customer service with an unsurpassed desire to respond to the needs of all classes of customers; both internal and external. Ø Responsible for development and delivery of complete and technically accurate product quotations. Ø Possess a desire for growth within your goal set that includes getting in front of customers to become the first line of product and company representation, because you have earned that privilege. Ø Able to travel throughout sales territory. Ø Shall be responsible for collection and all outstanding payment against your name/department. Ø Any other reasonable request as assigned by superiors.

Quality Management System responsibilities:

1. Document Control: Maintain and manage documents related to the quality management system, such as policies, procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. This includes version control, distribution, and ensuring the availability of up-to-date documentation.

2. Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of quality standards, procedures, and best practices. This may involve conducting training sessions, creating training materials, and assessing training effectiveness.

3. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by fostering employee engagement, soliciting feedback, and implementing suggestions for enhancing the quality management system and overall organizational performance.

Occupational Health & Safety Management System responsibilities:

1. Familiarization with OHS Policies: Shall be aware of the organization's OHS policies and procedures. This includes understanding their roles and responsibilities regarding workplace safety and health.

2. Reporting Hazards: Shall promptly report any workplace hazards or potential risks to their supervisors or the designated safety personnel. Hazards may include faulty equipment, unsafe working conditions, or potential ergonomic issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Generating new business and achieving sales targets as assigned by superiors.

Ø Shall be responsible for preparation of proposals, negotiations to actively

pursue orders and preparation of hand-over documents for order execution.

Ø Responsible for all commercial and technical content in accordance with

Company’s policies and procedures.

Ø Carry out product selections, Material Approval Sheet(MAS) submittals,

technical specifications etc.,

Ø Review and prepare comments/clarifications to customer’s medium voltage

drive specifications and quotation requests.

Ø Prepare proposals that adequately define and promote the scope and

equipment details of the company’s offer.

Ø Identify and provide suggested solutions for all technical and commercial

challenges to the internal organization for review before bid submittal and

during the negotiation process.

Ø Support the external sales channel commercially and technically in

presenting, clarifying and negotiating with the customer.

Ø Contribute all necessary information and documentation for review and

approval of bids and orders before submitting.

Ø Contribute to other marketing and sales programs including training, market

surveys and product development and support.

Ø Contribute to improvements in the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the

sales and marketing team.

Ø Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations

Ø Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such

as conferences, seminars, etc.
