Overview Of The Role:
The Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in generating sales and delivering a positive customer experience within the market hall area. This role involves supporting operational duties as assigned by the shopkeeper, such as product arrangement and maintaining the sales floor. Success in this role is measured by achieving sales targets, participating in inventories, and adhering to company policies. The Sales Assistant must work collaboratively within the sales team, embodying a friendly and engaging personality and maintaining professionalism while interacting with customers.
What You Will Do:

Maintain store standards and cleanliness to ensure a sparkling clean and organized environment.

Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise, the brand, and the company.

Complete all operational duties assigned by the shopkeeper, including arranging products and maintaining the sales floor.

Meet or exceed weekly sales targets.

Participate in all market hall inventories.

Attend all store meetings and related functions.

Adhere to designated work schedule and be punctual.

Work flexibly and collaboratively with peers and management to accomplish duties.

Follow IKEA policies and procedures meticulously.

Create a positive first impression for customers with an energetic attitude and adherence to the dress code.

Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile.

Provide customers with current and relevant information to enhance their shopping experience.

Ensure accurate recording of sales transactions and maintain sales reports.

Physical fitness to lift stock and maintain stamina during long hours.
What Qualifies You For The Role:

High School Degree is required.

Minimum of 1 year of retail sales experience.

Proficiency in verbal communication skills.

Ability to lift certain products and stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
