Job Title: Sales and Collector
Location: Ras Al-Khaimah, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates
Reports To: Bussinuss development Manager
Job Summary:
The Sales and Collector is a dual-role position responsible for both generating sales and ensuring timely collection of payments from customers within the designated territory of Ras Al-Khaimah. This role requires a proactive individual with strong sales acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, a customer-focused approach, and diligence and persistence in managing accounts receivable.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation:
- Identify and prospect potential customers within the assigned territory through various methods (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.).
- Present and promote the company's products or services to potential clients, highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales quotations and proposals.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
- Payment Collection:
- Manage and monitor assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding payment schedules, overdue balances, and payment arrangements.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits as required.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers within established guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and payment status.
- Identify and escalate delinquent accounts or potential bad debt to the appropriate department.
- Prepare regular reports on collection status and outstanding receivables.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding both sales inquiries and payment matters.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers to foster loyalty and ensure repeat business.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and collection efforts.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, collection reports, and other required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to sales and collections.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., finance, customer service, logistics) to resolve customer issues and ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Compliance and Regulations:
- Adhere to all relevant local laws and regulations related to sales practices and debt collection in Ras Al-Khaimah and the UAE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience (typically [Number] years) in a sales role, with some experience in collections or customer service involving financial transactions.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

- Valid UAE driver's license and access to a vehicle may be required depending on the nature of the role and territory.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable due to the local context.
